| Given the paddle-powered environmental style of sea kayaking, the sport is a natural for Puerto Princessa, so we joined with local kayaker Ernie Lim to explore the Underground River by kayak, and to design a sea kayaking trail for use by future Puerto Princessa kayak aficionados, perhaps even a commercial operation.
As the Pista Y Ang Kageban – Festival of the Forest proves, a healthy jungle is integral to protecting reefs., so if you want do some real kayaking around Puerto Princessa, be prepared to enjoy the jungle on the way to the put-in. It’s brilliant Land & Sea Nature at its best. |
